Kristen & Evan’s First Landing State Park Engagement Photos

Have you ever wondered if a blind date would really work? Well, Kristen and Evan would say it does! We met Kristen & Evan for their First Landing State Park Engagement Photos on a beautiful April evening, and we couldn’t forget their best fur friend either!

Our Leading Lady Danielle is their photographer for their July wedding in VA Beach. Danielle spent the evening getting to know Kristen & Evan and obviously showing Manzi love too! We’re all dog mom’s so any opportunity to snuggle a dog in an ascot, we’re delighted about it!

How they met

I know we all think a blind date is scary, that’s because they are. However, once you get past the awkward ‘Is that who I’m meeting?’ it’s really not all bad. Especially in Evan & Kristen’s case. In fact, it worked perfectly for them! Evan’s cousin set them up on a blind date and the rest is history!

The Proposal

What we love about Evan and Kristen is how chill they are. It’s typically just the two of them and their dog Manzi. One ‘typical’ Friday night on the beach with Manzi, beers, and a pizza Evan decided to ask Kristen to marry him! Obviously, she said yes! Maybe it was the pizza, or maybe it was Evan either way we’re glad she did!

For Evan & Kristen’s First Landing State Park Engagement Photos we started in the trails, for a gorgeous earthy look. Dancing under the tree draped trails, and strolling along the boardwalks with Manzi. Thier laughter together truly makes any location beautiful.

Next, we headed to the beach to catch some golden hour sunset fun! Strolling along the beach, pretended their on Titanic, and sneaking a few sun flare kisses in there too! Wind and all!
