Katie & Andrews Newport News Wedding at a Secluded Private Estate
You’ve seen Katie & Andrew around here before, if you haven’t seen their coastal Virginia engagement portraits you’ll need to do yourself a favor and scroll through them, they’re insanely romantic! Enough about their engagement, they’re married now!! Katie & Andrew’s Newport News Wedding included I Do’s in front of a ten-foot cross, at a secluded private estate overlooking the water. Talk about romantic, they just keep bringing it!
They started the day by getting ready with their closest friends, and family. Spending the morning being pampered. They decided to do a first look and let me just say, our hearts were bursting at how sweet these two are! First off, its very clear that Andrew is head over heels in love with Katie, we LOVE it! Secondly, he is for sure an engineer. After the first emotions of seeing his bride, he inspected her gorgeous gown and his bride all together with such detail, it was so sweet! He loves ever inch of his bride.
Katie had a vision for her wedding. To be married in front of a giant cross. Andrew, and a few helpers, made her dream come true. The best part, we were supposed to have rain…everywhere. However mother nature had the rain skirt around the water, away from us, and the clouds opened up with beautiful light as they read their vows. One powerful way to say I Do!
Katie & Andrew share a beautiful love story. One with a lot of miles in between them. That’s only made them stronger and more in love with each other. Each moment they have together is cherished, fully. You don’t have a love story like theirs without a lot of big love for each other.
Once the I do’s were done, it was time to PARTY!! They kicked off their reception by switching up their slow first dance into an electric hit and dancing with their bridal party, very Katie & Andrew!! The party didn’t stop there, they danced to almost every song with their people! That is until their final dance. We ‘kicked everyone out’ to start lining up for their exit, cleared the tent, and let these two love birds dance their hearts out! They truly danced like no one was watching, and for that, I will forever love a final dance. They chose Mariah Carey’s ‘Always be my Baby’ and it did not disappoint!
Lastly in the rain, they walked through sparklers and cheers from all the people they love! What a perfect day for these two wonderful humans!
