The Virginia Beach Oceanfront lines the Atlantic Ocean and also has gorgeous views! The advantage of proposal at the Oceanfront is it allows for several locations to celebrate after. If you are looking for a quieter beach along the Oceanfront, the North End beaches are a locals favorite. Looking to propose along the boardwalk? Beginning at the King Neptune Statue is a great place to start at the board walk.
If you and your partner love the outdoors, spending the day in First Landing State Park has so many beautiful trails to walk along and find a perfect place to propose.

Best Time of Day to Propose
There is no wrong time to propose, but there are a few factors you might want to consider before you propose.

Where to Park before Proposing in Virginia Beach
If you are proposing during the months of May-Early September in Virginia Beach, be prepared to walk a little bit from where you park to the beach. What does this mean for you? If your partner likes to wear high heels, you might encourage a shoe that they can easily kick off on the beach or something easy to walk in to get to the beach.
The bay side beaches along Shore Drive have free street parking and free beach access. If you are planning to park and propose at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront you will need to pay a meter for street parking or you can utilize the parking garages.
If there is not convenient parking outside of Virginia Beach restaurants, many of them offer complimentary valet parking.
