How They Met

Danielle & Matt’s love story sounds like the beginning of our next favorite Rom-Com. Their dogs ran up to each other on the beach to start playing and essentially acted as matchmakers for Danielle and Matt!

It only felt appropriate to include their pups, Chantz and Ziggy, in this Virginia Beach winter engagement session since they are such a vital part of their love story.

The Proposal

To bring their love story full circle, they were walking the dogs on the bay after getting coffee and pancakes at American Brew when Matt popped the question!

While Danielle & Matt’s favorite place to travel is a good warm getaway (like a resort in Grenada!), they had such a blast kicking off their engagement session in the winter on the beach in Seashore State Park!

Would you believe us if we told you it was absolutely freezing and windy on the beach this day?! These cuties had such a blast and were such good sports.

We think taking winter engagement photos in beanies and a coat might be our new favorite cozy outfit choice! Bonus points if you have your pups along to keep you warm.

After snuggling on the beach, Danielle and Matt did one of their favorite activities: wandering the trails with their pups.

This was the perfect winter date night exploring the trails in seashore state park. We can’t wait for their summer wedding at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club!
