Olivia & Wren’s Downtown Norfolk Elopement

Olivia and Wren’s Downtown Norfolk Elopement didn’t exactly start there! They actually performed their ceremony in Oldtown Portsmouth, right on the water, surrounded by their loved ones. Once they said I do, it was time to climb aboard the ferry over to where they met, Waterside District in Norfolk! Why head over to Waterside? Well, it’s where it all began for these two cuties!

We didn’t just ride the ferry like lame ducks, there’s no fun in that! We took portraits of them hand in hand, stealing kisses and exchanging loving looks. A little less Titanic and more sophistication. I mean look at how romantic they are, just two people in the world.

Once we deboarded the ferry, we spent time where it all began. They met at Waterside one fateful night, encouraged by a few beverages, which then turned into forever. It was only fitting to give Waterside its own moment. We danced along the boardwalk, accompanied by a school of sting rays! We strolled our way through Downtown Norfolk over to Grain where they met back up with their loved ones.

Grain is the rooftop bar and restaurant, and on a weekday early afternoon, it’s a little more empty which gave us the chance to snag a few epic rooftop, downtown Norfolk photos. My favorite part though? Their families, they lit up as soon as we walked into the door or maybe they snagged my heart when they all raised a glass to me, we’ll never know. Either way, I couldn’t have envisioned a better Downtown Norfolk Elopement for Olivia & Wren!
