Leah & Tyler’s Freemason District Engagement Portraits
Tyler and Leah were set up on a blind date by her best friend from high school who worked with Tyler at that time. She thought that they would be a good match. It took her months to muster up the courage to ask Tyler to be set up with one of her friends. As cheesy as it sounds, after their first date they both knew they had something special! Talk about romantic! We met them for their Freemason District Engagement Portraits featuring Duke of Noroflk, their pup!
Their golden retriever Duke (Yes, you may call him Duke of Norfolk, he doesn’t mind!) who really steals the show with his greetings also stole the show of their portraits! His good boy smile came out for each pose we did! Don’t worry we made sure he had plenty of snacko’s for a job well done!
For their Freemason district Engagement portraits, we met by the water to start. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and the golden light was pure magic. We strolled the cobblestone streets, chatting about local breweries and dog parent shenanigans. With a few pauses for good boy pets as well!
The proposal
It had been storming all day and Tyler wanted to go to their roof to watch the sunset before they met up with their friends for dinner. Leah was confused because it was such a gross day and they were running late but went up there with him anyway. (The things we do for those we love!) It had actually just stopped raining, the roof was empty and the sky was all these crazy colors because of the thunderstorm. They had the whole roof to themselves and right then and there Tyler proposed. In fact, in a lot of the pictures, they took that evening their hair is standing straight up because of all the static electricity from the thunderstorms! What an electric moment….literally!
If you love Leah and Tyler’s Freemason District Engagement portraits you’ll love Marissa and Jimmy’s!
