It starts with what you wear. You’ll have a styling and wardrobe appointment with us a few weeks prior to your portraits. We will decide on the location for your portraits, then we’ll piece together outfits for each family member. Utilizing your closet, our curated Nuuly list, or our partner discounts. The entire look of your family, from location to outfits, is based on your vision for the artwork you want to hang in your home. More time for you to relax because outfits are done for you.
Next is pampering. All you have to do is show up – we’ll handle the rest! Mom will be scheduled for hair and makeup on the day of your session. We want you to feel your best, and look like your gorgeous goddess self. Your hair and makeup will be look elevated yet natural – giving you all the confidence infront of the camera.

All you have to do is show up! Now that the location & outfits are chosen, mom is pampered, it’s time to make memories! You’ll leave your home an extra 20 minutes early, arrive to your portratis a hair early to get everyone out of the car and to the beach.
Your Virginia Beach Family photos will be natural. We’ll begin with the nice formal, everyone is looking at the camera, and photos. Once we know we have those beautiful photos, then it’s time for the memories. We’ll give you and your family prompts and activities to get you all moving and interacting. We want to capture your family as they are now – freeze the tiny hand dimples, the wobbly walks, and childhood moments that go all too fast.

Wear what makes you feel amazing. Whether that’s a dress, shorts, a cute jumper, or a swimsuit – build ourfits around what your family likes to wear, but we’ll be sure to elevate it. Also, don’t put little kids into their outfits until last.
Choose a location that fits your vision! These memories we capture will adorn your walls. When thinking of locations, envision what you see on your walls. Then think about what your family loves to do. Is it the beach at sunset, or is it First Landing State Park with the green mossy trees?
Have fun with your family. These photos will not be perfect. Let go of that idea. Your children are not perfect; we don’t expect them to be. Let go of perfect, and embrace your family.
