Lizzie & Brett’s Lady Bird Farm Wedding

Lizzie and Brett met when they were just 16 years old. One of Lizzie’s friends began attending a different school which just so happened to be where Brett went as well. Said mutual friend introduced the two and the world have been filled with their love ever since. Their Lady Bird Farm Wedding was the perfect June day complete with both of their big families and closest friends around them.

How they met…

Oh, the power of a Snap Chat!! You know that Lizzie and Brett met through a mutual friend, but we didn’t say how. Yes, you can find love on Snap Chat! Lizzie saw a snap from her friend that included Brett. Lizzie obviously was struck by how handsome he was and asked her friend about him. She gave Lizzie Brett’s number and they’ve talked every single day since!

The Proposal!

Just like everything else in 2020, Brett’s proposal to Lizzie didn’t go as planned. They have been traveling to Oak Island since early in their relationship, it’s their place. (I mean, what a gorgeous location to get away from it all!) Brett had planned to take Lizzie to Oak Island like they normally did and propose…well COVID had other plans. Brett couldn’t wait, there’s no waiting when forever is on the line! Easter weekend after dinner with their families Brett proposed to Lizzie!! And of course, she said yes!

The Lady Bird Farm Wedding!

Lizzie &. Brett’s Lady Bird Farm Wedding was filled with love. In fact a lot of it! Both Lizzie & Brett have large families so to say these two are loved is probably an understatement! Lizzie is blessed with two amazing moms, two wonderfully protective dads, and a lot of siblings! Brett has brothers & sisters to boot and grandparents who couldn’t stop smiling the entire day! They gathered their beautiful families, close friends, and obviously their nieces & nephews to celebrate the love!

Lizzie was walked down the aisle by her dad’s, sending her off with stern handshakes and sweet hugs for their girl! (Also, don’t get me started on the first looks with them tears will flow!) Lizzie and Brett giggled and exchanged looks throughout their ceremony. My favorite part, was when each of them placed their bands. Both of them looked at the ring they had just placed, rubbed it, and had this smile that literally took my breath away. If you ask me, the look, it was true love. They cherished those few seconds as if the world stopped and they were the only ones in it.
