Noelle & Tyler’s Colonial Williamsburg Winter Engagement Session

How They Met
Noelle and Tyler are high school sweethearts! They grew up in the same neighborhood and had a lot of the same friends, although it took quite some time until their paths crossed.
Noelle liked Tyler the moment she met him after mutual friends set them up on a carpool ride together to a game. After they ‘officially’ first met, they did not go an hour without talking.
They rest is history!

A Winter Williamsburg Engagement session was the most adorable and cozy vibe for these high school sweethearts.

The Proposal
For the proposal, Tyler set up their boat with string lights, flowers, rose pedals, and an air mattress in the front. They had “planned” to go out fishing on the boat the night of the proposal but when Noelle got to the boat she was surprised to find it all decorated.
They went out to the river and watched the sunset when he asked her to be his wife.
After she said “yes!” they went back to the dock to celebrate with family and friends at the marina gazebo!

Noelle and Tyler love to travel together and traveled all along the East Coast, enjoying MLB stadiums along the way!

These two have so much fun together! Outside of travel, they love to go out on their boat to go fishing, they love to cook, and do mini renovation projects!

After walking through the snow in Colonial Williamsburg, Tyler sat down on a porch with Noelle to play his guitar. It was the sweetest way to capture this special moment in time and we can just imagine them doing this in their late 80s!

Sitting around listening to Tyler play his guitar was such a natural way for these two to feel comfortable, confident, and most importantly to be themselves!

This was the perfect winter date night exploring Colonial Williamsburg in the Winter. We can’t wait for their spring wedding at the Norfolk Botanical Garden!
