The Proposal!

Kelvin proposed on a high mountain top in South Africa. He is originally from South Africa. His parents moved him and his siblings when they were younger. His whole extended family still lives there. They went on a 3-week trip back in November 2022 and went on a few safaris and visited his family. One day at Phinda Game Reserve (a private lodge), they went with their guide to go “shopping” at another lodge. Just the 3 of them. However, they stopped at a really high mountain where the guide told them it was a great spot for pictures because of its view. Aileen & Kelvin climbed out to the highest rock (it was so windy) and Kelvin proposed!

The Wedding

If you googled ‘Perfect wedding day at The Hermitage Museum,’ you’d find Aileen & Kelvin’s Day. The weather was perfect, the vibes were spot on, and it was an all-around perfect day for these two! Their wedding parties were full of love and laughs; the family was so excited to see these two get married, and their guests didn’t want to leave at the end of the night. Like we said, the perfect day!

Aileen & Kelvin chose to do a first look in Mill Stone Alley; Aileen was so excited for Kelvin to see her! And we understand why her glam dress and look were STUNNING! Obviously, Kelvin liked it, too! This made for a sweet, intimate moment for the two of them before jumping into the craziness of their wedding day.

Their ceremony in the East Garden was dreamy. Filled with beautiful sunlight, readings by family, and beautiful vows to commit to forever. After the I Do’s came the party!! The sweetest first dance, hilarious toasts, and one epic dance floor guests didn’t want to leave! The cherry on top is their last dance. It was intimate, beautiful, and full of love…and disco balls!
