We’ve all fallen for Owen & Joseph’s love story over the past year. You’ll remember them from the sweetest proposal story ever. They also had the most epic engagement photos in Nevada that included snow…yes snow in Nevada! It’s only fitting that theses two have one epic Glasshill Venue Wedding! Their wedding day started out calm and relaxed, with a little bit of summer Virginia muggy heat in the air.

Owen slid into Joseph’s DM’s a little over two years ago. He complimented Joseph on how fine he looked, and since that day they’ve been inseparable…well almost! At the time of said DM, Joseph lived in Nevada, and Owen was here in Virginia. After rocking the long distance status for a while, and getting engaged, they began a life together in Nevada. This summer they ventured back to Virginia to lay down some roots and be closer to family & friends!

Owen & Joseph opted for a first touch instead of a first look. They wanted to read their last message in a bottle to each other. Talk about romance! They have been saving the letters they write to each other in a bottle so they keep them safe and have them if they ever need a reminder. It was only fitting that their last letter is on the day they commit to forever. The chemistry these two gave off with just a single touch, had all our hearts emotional.

Their ceremony was on the lawn overlooking the gorgeous blue ridge mountains. After waiting for a brief rain shower to pass, they invited their guests to witness their commitment to forever. Joseph walked down the aisle with his parents, so proud. Next, their incredible wedding party filed down the aisle arm in arm, with so much excitement!! Lastly, Owen. He and his parents strolled down the aisle as he beamed with love as he stared at Joseph, on the edge of emotions for this long-awaited moment!

As the officiant married them, mother nature gave us a surprise! The skies opened up and rain began to fall. Then it started to pour, so we all scurried back inside. The best part about this unplanned moment? The smiles on Owen & Joseph’s faces. The laughter knowing they, just as Taylor Swift did a week earlier, had made the rain look good!! As I’ve always said, ‘Every tree needs water to grow deep roots’ – that’s exactly what Owen & Joseph now have, deeper roots.

As we adjusted plans and got everyone seated indoors, Owen and Joseph were married in front of the fireplace, surrounded by their loved ones, and a stellar charcuterie board. With the biggest smiles, they said I do, and became Mr & Mr Marino!

Their Glasshille Venue Wedding reception kicked off with the sweetest first dance. The two of them lost in each other eyes as if they were the only two people in the world. Once the dance floor opened up their Taylor Swift filled playlist kept the floor filled with epic dance moves, karaoke moments, and a few stolen kisses.
