Emily & Holton’s Delta Marriott Wedding
Emily and Holton gathered their favorite people at the destination Delta Marriott Wedding! The perfect spring-April wedding day, filled with 80-degree weather, smiles and love so beautiful its swoon-worthy!
The first look that had us all emotional! When Emily walked out to Holton for the first time, a cloud had hid the sun. As they read their personal vows to each other, the cloud gave way and a beautiful ray of sun poured down on them. Like their words to each other were giving them the light they needed. Ooof we could get emotional all over again! When Ashley asked Emily, ‘Do you think he’ll cry?’ Well, the proof is in the photos!
Their ceremony. The giggles! The love that radiated towards them was the best!! So much love there weren’t enough seats, but that didn’t stop their people from standing tall and excited for them!! We always say your wedding day is a lot of love coming at you. Such an amazing feeling. Only to be topped off with a confetti cannon exit!!
To kick off the reception, they shared a romantic first dance filled with laughter, smiles, and loving glances. Then Emily shared dances with her dad. The sweetest father-daughter dance had dad twirling and swinging Emliy around and their giggles as they performed the dance they’d rehearsed so many times. Then Holton took the dance floor for a ballroom dance with his mom as she proudly soaked in the moment. Both Emily & Holton shared a beautiful moment with their step-parents, creating memories to last a lifetime.
Once the formalities were done, it was time to PAR-TAYYYY!!! The dance floor was popping…until Thunderstruck came over the speakers. Everyone stood in a circle with a drink in hand to play a game that had everyone loosened up and ready to dance the night away!
We’d be missing a big point if we didn’t give a shout out to Emily’s Maid of Honor aka Sister for her great song/rap skills. Get it girl! We won’t leave the best man out either, especially since we always enjoy hearing about the ‘before Emily’ version of Holton.
