Alley & Nathan’s VA Beach Engagement Portraits

Nathan and Alley’s VA Beach Engagement Portraits were what dream beach photos are made of! They also included their bestest boy Henry to make them extra special! However, this was not our first choice of location, but when you work with Cat DeLine, the alternative comes out better than the original plan! We were going to start at the nearby lighthouse, however, it was closed, so with quick feet, we improvised and the outcome is stunning!!

Alley and Nathan met on Bumble a few years ago, hitting it off and truly enjoying their time together. Fast forward to last year when Nathan planned the cutest beach picnic with VB Picnic Co and of course Alley’s best friends; he had more in mind than a charcuterie board! (IDK how that’s possible with that much delicious cheese staring at you!) He planned to ask Alley to be his wife! Obviously, she said yes! We’re not sure if it was his charm or the cheese that made her say yes; either way, we’re glad she did!

We started their session in a street just down the road from the beach to get a little more greenery in their gallery. Plus, the lighting was so dreamy I about passed out…but wait there’s more! When we got to the beach location at 82nd street in VA Beach, we were graced not only with a warm golden sunset but also a boat. Talk about lucky!!
