Katie & Drew’s Norfolk Engagement Portraits

As Katie put it, she and I may be kindred spirits, but don’t worry Drew- it’s clear that you two are absolutely meant to be each other’s forever! I was SO excited to meet this couple and share such a fun loving and playful day with them and their sweet pup! We strolled the streets and sat by the water while capturing the perfect Norfolk Engagement Portraits.

After nearly a year of living on separate coasts during this pandemic, Katie and Drew were reunited in Virginia. They originally met on Hinge in San Diego and have known since their second date this was the real thing. On date one, they shared drinks and tacos and talked for seven, SEVEN hours! Sometimes, you just know you’ve found the one.

Drew and Katie made my job easy as we made our way around Norfolk documenting their engaging love. Everything from intimate moments with just the two of them, to watching Drew and Katie run hand in hand as their dog excitedly followed!

Drew proposed to Katie exactly 2 years from the day they met in San Diego with their beloved dog by their side  in a park nearby. It was an easy answer for Katie and wedding plans were already in the works.
