Logan & Jenny’s Windridge Vineyards Wedding
Have you ever seen a couple together and thought ‘Wow, those two are so in love’? If you have, you may have seen Logan and Jenny somewhere in the world. And I mean somewhere in the world like Australia, Singapore, Europe….somewhere in the world. On May 1st however, you would have found them at their Windridge Vineyards wedding just outside DC.
Before we get to their gorgeous wedding day, you need to hear about how they met and how Logan asked Jenny to be his wife. (It’s one of my favorite stories, in one of my favorite places) Jenny and Logan met in Singapore on a study aboard trip. It was fate when they were put into the same presentation group, and they were side by side ever since. After deciding to move to Australia, they took a trip to visit 9 countries over 2 months before settling down. One of those stops was Singapore. Logan asked Jenny to marry him on a suspended walkway bridge in the mountains of Singapore, following by a romantic night at the Marina Bay Sands hotel. What’s crazy to me is I’ve stood in those exact same places, so to say we were also meant to be, I’d have to agree.
With 25 of their closest people they said I Do in a simple ceremony overlooking the blossoming vines at Windridge Vineyards. They sealed a bottle of classic Windridge wine with love notes for their first anniversary. Then sealed their love with the perfect first kiss following by never ending smiles.
Windridge Vineyards was the perfect setting for their day. Their reception was surrounded by beautiful wine barrels, and elegant stone walls creating the perfect intimate setting to toast the newlyweds. Their first dance on the patio with the beautiful scenery behind them as they giggled, laughed and shared their excitement for forever.
The evening was filled with laughter, a couple tears, dancing and a sunset sparkler exit to send the newlyweds off.
