When I met Nunu & Lloyd at O’Conner’s Brewing for happy hour for their wedding consultation, I knew they were a true Cat DeLine couple. We talked about their love story, how they met, when Lloyd popped the question, and a few wedding details.

See I get to know my couples together, their love story, their now. What caught my heart at their wedding was how everyone talked about their life before each other. How each felt lost, and looking for a home until they found each other because when you meet Nunu & Lloyd you can tell they’re at home.

Nunu, my brave girl! She fled her home in Turkey during unrest, and arrived here in the US and found her soulmate at a concert in Norfolk VA. Lloyd grew up in NY but seemed to bounce around from place to place living life, exploring and genuinely looking for a place to call home. That is until he met Nunu.

Two incredible souls, wondering this planet in search of home, what an incredible love story! Ok, before I get too emotional let’s keep moving!

We need to take a minute and talk about how beautiful it is to watch two families weave themselves together as their loved ones become a family. Capturing two different cultures weaving themselves together for Nunu & Lloyd was incredible! Everyone came together, danced, laughed, shared food, and became a family. Also, Turkish dancing is incredibly mesmerizing!

To say they had a beautiful wedding is an understatement. They brought two different sides of the world together and it was as if these families were always meant to be one.
