Wes & Kait’s Stumpy Lake Elopement
Sometimes the third time is a charm, at least for Wes and Kait it was. See they met three times before Kait gave Wes a chance to connect more. After that third meeting, the rest is history and now Wes and Kait are married! They gathered their families for their Stumpy Lake Elopement.
Unfortunately, Wes and Kait have the same story as most couples who planned a 2020 wedding. With quarantine, travel restrictions, and CDC recommendations their original wedding plans have been postponed, twice. Kait and Wes still wanted to get married so they could start their life together in a new state.
Wes and Kait wanted an intimate moment together to share the vows they wrote for each other. Their first look was a beautiful moment; filled with tears, laughter, and Wes’ breath taken away by the first site of his beautiful bride. Highly recommend this beautiful moment to my elopement couples!
After their intimate first look we brought their families into the woods where we witnessed these two beautiful souls become one. It was touching to watch their parents, and siblings as they vowed on forever. I don’t think a single person there stopped smiling but maybe a second to wipe a tear away.
After they exchanged rings, hugged their loved ones we commenced their bride and groom portraits. Frolicking through the woods, dancing along the dirt paths, and chasing the sunlight. These two have this infectious energy about them, beaming with smiles and laughter. Don’t get me started on how Wes looks at Kait, I caught his glance at her more than once and it shook me.
My favorite moment: I had Wes lean over to Kait and whisper the moment he knew he’d spend forever with her. Wooo that look Kait had on her face made your girl emotional! Give me two hearts wildly in love any day!
If you love Wes and Kait’s elopement you’ll swoon over Daniel and Kathy’s Richmond elopement!
