Wade & Leah’s Intimate Fredericksburg Wedding
Life takes us on a journey that brings us to exactly where we’re supposed to be. The journey for Leah & Wade was a long and winding one that brought them back together years after meeting. The timing was perfect and so was their intimate wedding in Fredericksburg Virginia.
Leah and Wade gathered their combined ten children, family and closest friends to an intimate back yard wedding. Which was perfect, especially in the year of COVID. Everyone was able to come together on short notice, and make their dream wedding day happen!
It was apparent from their first look that we all were going to have tears in our eyes. The way Wade looked at Leah stopped me in my tracks. You could see this love spilling out of his eyes as he took the first look at his bride. Leah, didn’t stop smiling from the first glimpse of Wade as she walked to him. Their first look will go down as one of the most romantic moment’s I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing. Two beautiful souls coming together and finally becoming one.
When it came time to do bride and groom portraits they were all in! I give my couple prompts to help them get in the moment together and lose sight of my camera being there. Wade, needed very little instruction on getting Leah to smile or how to embrace her. My favorite memory: I asked Leah if she would like to have happy girly moment in her dress. She kicked off her shoes and I knew it would going to be a moment to remember! She proceeded to spin with the biggest smile on. Then Wade stepped up to the plate and did a hand stand…yes you read that right! In his suit, Wade did a handstand and officially became the coolest groom! That’s what I love about these two. They aren’t afraid to be outwardly happy together! They embrace life so beautifully its contagious!
