Pat & Rachel’s Wild Horse Estate Wedding

Pat and Rachel had to make the difficult decision to reschedule their April 24th Wild Horse Estate Wedding. The COVID-19 pandemic closed all of OBX to all non- residents. On June 26th, they gathered with their closest friends and family in the Outer Banks to FINALLY say I Do!

The Wild Horse Estate is a gorgeous vacation rental home located on the northern end of the Corolla 4×4 beach in the Outer Banks, NC. If you’re going to make the trek out, be ready with your SUV! Get ready to bomb through dunes and listen to the waves crash as you cruise down the sand highway! The Wild Horse Estate boasts views of the dunes for miles, wild horses (hence the name), and the mostly vacant beach!

Pat and Rachel met through Rachel’s sister and have built a life together. Then last year Pat needed to take it to the next level and asked Rachel to marry him as they were choosing their Christmas Tree at a tree farm…talk about awweee worthy!!

They had the perfect day, with not a cloud in the sky, as they said I Do on the front deck overlooking the water. Then commenced the reception, filled with dips, dancing, and laughs. The cherry on top, the out of this world sunset! I mean there’s no words to describe it so just go look!

Was that not INSANE!?!?! Take a moment, you need it……just kidding IT GOT BETTER!!!!

Ok, I’m done now I promise! Back to the real reason you’re here! Pat and Rachel capped their night with an intimate sparkler twirl with their bridal party as the waves crashed on the shore.
