When Megan inquired about a maternity session for her first baby, she wanted something a little different than a Hawaii beach maternity. We chatted about various ideas, and ultimately landed on a jungle style setting. 

With the threat of rain during Hawaii’s very wet winter we began the session in the morning. We had a small window before the rain was expected. We walked amongst gorgeous Bayan trees covered in vines, through bamboo tunnels and along babbling rivers and waterfalls. We even crossed the water! 

Megan and Jared are such a fun couple, laughing and joking the entire time! Megan was a glow in her stunning dress, complete with a dramatic train! Jared was a great assistant holding phones, helping Megan step across vines and making her laugh and smile. They will be welcoming their new bundle of love into the world shortly, I can not wait to see them blossom as a family!
