Alec and Lexie met me out at Coquina Beach in Nags Head NC for their dreamy engagement session. As their wedding photographer I was excited to get to know and work with Alec and Lexie before their big day later this year. Engagement sessions are the perfect way to get to know your wedding photographer. You get to see how I work, my techniques and we get to vibe together! That way by the time your best day ever rolls around we’re already old friends!
Lexie wore a STUNNING black gown and Alec complemented her perfectly in his suspenders and slacks. When Lexie showed me the dress she planned on wearing my jaw dropped. Then right after I picked it up, it dropped again when she told me she wanted it get in the water with it! YASSS to all my adventurous brides out there! Trust me, when I say getting my couples in the water is my jam. I love the genuine laughter and memories it creates!
Once we had our fun in the water, we turned around to see the most beautiful pocket of sunset streaming through the clouds above the dunes! Naturally we took full advantage of it and got dramatic sunset photos!
