Kaithlyn & Lion’s Garden Wedding

Kaithlyn and Lion gathered their closest people for their Garden Wedding at the Hermitage Museum in Norfolk, VA. The perfect garden venue with a waterfront backdrop and stunning gardens to mingle. Their end-of-summer wedding was perfection, from the wedding vibes to the packed dance floor!

How they Met

They met at Lifetime Fitness in the aquatic center when they were just 18 and 20. Lion was a lifeguard, and Kaithlyn was a swim instructor. See the waterfront backdrop brings it all full circle, but we won’t stop there! Lion proposed on December 10, 2022, at The Hermitage Museum and Gardens! Kaithlyn’s best friend set up candles in a heart shape and threw flower petals everywhere! It makes perfect sense to celebrate their beautiful love story here!

The Garden Wedding

They began their day getting ready at their home. Lion upstairs with his wedding party and Kaithlyn downstairs with hers. Both places are filled with laughs, shenanigans, and good times. Once they arrived at the Hermitage, Kaithlyn slipped into her dress with her mom’s help, and Lion patiently waited for his chance to see his bride. Their first look took place in the Mill Alley. Lion’s first glimpse of Kaithlyn had us all in our feels; then came the vows that had Kaithlyn in tears, and we were all an emotional mess!

It was time to make this official; the ceremony was sweet. With glances stolen between the bride and groom and their loved ones. They were enveloped with smiles from their families and guests as they said I Do. Surrounded by gorgeous pillars and florals, they sealed the deal with a kiss and exited as Mr & Mrs!

The party was the highlight! These two wanted to ensure they spent the most time with their guests during the reception. We’re here for it! After dinner, they were showered with heartfelt toasts, reminiscing and adding laughter to the guest list. Once the dance floor opened up it didn’t stop! They enjoyed every moment!
