Samantha and Josh had the dreamest wedding day at The Sinclair in Skaneateles NY! If you looked up ‘Perfect NY Summer Wedding,’ Samantha and Josh’s day would be the standard. The weather was perfect, the humans were top-notch, and Samantha & Josh are the best. Add in the color palette, toasts that had everyone a bit emotional, and add in a spicy dance floor and you have the recipe for a perfect Finger Lakes Summer Wedding!

How they Met…

We’re going way back for this one! Samantha & Josh went to High School together but rarely crossed paths often. They simply knew of each other. A few years later, they end up working at the same store. A friendship developed, and about a year later, Josh wooed his now wife into dating! When it came time to propose to Samantha, Josh chose her favorite city, Buffalo! (Add Samantha’s favorite city to the long list of reasons I (Cat) adore her)

The Wedding Day…

Samantha began the day with her wedding party above The Sinclair in their gorgeous suite. I need to give her wedding party a huge shout-out for being on it. They were on a mission to ensure our girl Samantha was cared for. You all are golden gems, and I manifest that all brides have a ride or die like you all! Ok, moving on! Josh and his wedding party got ready in downtown Syracuse.

Samantha and Josh said they would love to include Skaneateles Lake on their wedding day. We decided to travel the short 6-minute drive down to the lake for their first look, zero regrets! After guiding Josh to his bride while reassuring a couple, we were, in fact, NOT hazing him, and he was safe. As Josh took his first look at his soon-to-be wife, his emotions took over, and the tears started rolling. The sweetest moment! Then we all piled into their bus, and jammed to Taylor Swift the whole way back!

After their first look, we spent time on the wedding party and family portraits. Creating an experience that showcased their fun nature and good time vibe with the people they love the most! Then it was time to tuck them away so their guests could arrive to celebrate them all evening!

Samantha and Josh said I Do, in front of rows of old church pews filled by their closest people. They laughed through their ceremony, giggling as they made their way through vows and their first kiss. Just two people excited to start the next grand chapter of their lives!

The Reception at The Sinclair Skaneateles…

We all know the party don’t stop till they walk in….the wedding party, that is! This wedding party BROUGHT IT to the dance floor to hype the guests for their favorite couple! They created the perfect space for Samantha and Josh to have thier first dance as husband & wife. Next up was the toats, and talk about perfection. They kicked off with Samantha’s MOH, aka sister, detailing their love story and sisterly shenanigans. Josh’s best friend and best man delivered a heartfelt, emotional, and hilarious speech that had us just a little more in love with Samantha & Josh.

We decided to do some fun wedding party portraits; the idea was to give each member a set of glasses and let them strike a pose! So, I followed them around, and we got absolute GEMS of each wedding party member. 10/10 I recommend giving your wedding party the space to have fun!!! This wedding party knew how to do it!!
