Alpha Mae & Tim’s Winter Wedding at the Chrysler Museum of Art

Alpha Mae and Tim’s winter wedding at the Chrysler Museum of Art was a beautiful and timeless wedding. Set within one of Norfolk’s most iconic art spaces, their day felt intentional and perfectly them.

With soaring architecture, soft winter light, and a pace that allowed them to truly be present, Alpha Mae and Tim’s wedding day was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most memorable moments happen in the quiet in-between.

How They Met
Alpha Mae and Tim’s story began on the very first day of Navy flight school. Standing in line on their way into a classroom, Alpha Mae took a spot beside Tim at the front. She insists it was simply about securing a good seat…but Tim would tell you otherwise, fully convinced it had something to do with his charm and good looks.

What started as a shared moment in a classroom quickly grew into something much deeper, built on mutual respect, humor, and the kind of partnership that naturally unfolds when two people are meant to walk through life side by side.

The Proposal
Tim proposed to Alpha Mae during a trip to Malibu, making the moment just as thoughtful and scenic as their love story. After spending time exploring the Getty Villa, the two headed to Point Dume for a peaceful hike overlooking the coast.

Surrounded by ocean views and fresh air, Tim asked Alpha Mae to marry him, a heartfelt moment that felt perfectly aligned with who they are together: grounded and adventurous.

The Wedding
Their winter wedding at the Chrysler Museum of Art was nothing short of beautiful. While the wind outside was fast and relentless, it created the perfect excuse to slow down and lean into the warmth inside the museum.

Those conditions led to some of the most meaningful moments of the day. The Chrysler’s timeless interiors provided a stunning backdrop, while allowing Alpha Mae and Tim the space to be fully present with one another and their loved ones.

Their day felt calm and deeply personal, proof that even the windiest winter days can create the most unforgettable memories.
