Blythe & Callaway’s Beautiful Early May Wedding at The Hermitage Museum & Gardens

Blythe and Callaway’s May wedding at the Hermitage Museum & Gardens was the perfect blend of color, personality, and heartfelt moments.

The Hermitage’s historic charm and blooming spring gardens set the stage for a celebration that was both timeless and full of vibrant, modern touches.

From the very first detail to the last dance, their wedding day was uniquely them. It was joyful, stylish, and centered around the people and places they love most!

Their Wedding Details
One of the standout design elements of their day was the abundance of bright, colorful florals. Every arrangement brought the gardens to life even more, creating a beautiful color palette that tied together the ceremony, reception, and portraits.

To complement the floral design, the couple incorporated vintage couches for a relaxing lounge area by the water. These pieces added a fun, nostalgic aesthetic and became the perfect backdrop for playful bridal party photos and candid moments with their guests.

Callaway added a personal touch with a custom-built favor display, featuring small bags of local coffee from Three Ships Coffee, a nod to one of the couple’s favorite Virginia Beach spots.
Guests loved the thoughtful, hometown detail, and it added such a meaningful layer to their overall design.

The Vintage Inspired Touches
Blythe’s bridal look was effortlessly elegant. She wore long, silk gloves for her ceremony, giving her entire look a romantic, vintage-inspired feel.

After saying their vows in the garden, the couple took advantage of the Hermitage’s architecture and history by slipping inside the museum for intimate, romantic portraits.

The vintage furniture, dramatic light, and quiet corners of the museum created some of the dreamiest images of their day.

Their Day
Throughout the entire celebration, the weather was stunning, which allowed everyone to enjoy the outdoor spaces at The Hermitage Museum in May. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Blythe and Callaway spent the day laughing, exploring, and soaking in every moment.

Before their grand exit, the couple shared one of their favorite memories of the day: a private last dance. Just the two of them, the string lights glowing overhead, and the soft hum of their wedding song, it was the perfect way to slow down and savor the end of an unforgettable celebration.

The Final Send Off
They ended the night with a joyful bubble send-off, surrounded by cheers and glowing smiles.

Blythe and Callaway’s wedding at the Hermitage Museum & Gardens was a beautiful reflection of their style, their story, and their love.
