Lily & Ephraim’s Romantic Fall Wedding at The Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort

Lily and Ephraim’s wedding day was nothing short of timeless and romantic. Set against the Atlantic ocean views at The Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort, their celebration embraced the beauty of fall, shared heartfelt details, and so much joy. Friends and family gathered to witness their love story unfold with the perfect mix of laughter and happy tears.

How They Met

Lily and Ephraim first met in New Paltz, New York, where Ephraim went to college and near where Lily grew up. They were introduced by friends (including Lily’s best friend since 9th grade, Zack, who proudly stood as her bridesman). While Ephraim jokes that Lily was into him right away, she says it was his charm and humor that eventually won her over.

The Proposal

The proposal was straight out of a storybook. Ephraim popped the question in the Sunken Garden at the historic Cavalier Hotel. Under the guise of celebrating his mom’s birthday, their families secretly gathered and hid in the surrounding bushes. When Ephraim asked Lily to marry him, their loved ones came out to celebrate the big “yes” with them and it was the sweetest surprise.

About Lily & Ephraim

They’re big fans of spontaneous date nights that often start simple and end in unexpected adventures. Their go-to spots include Chick’s and Hearth, where dinner and drinks sometimes turn into late-night outings. Every so often, they’ll make a surprise trip to the casino for some table games, making date nights unforgettable.

Their Wedding Day

This incredibly gorgeous (and warm!!) Fall Wedding at The Marriott started with beautiful ocean views while Lily & Ephram got ready with their closest people. Lily shared a special first look with her dad before it was time for the ceremony.
After the ceremony it was time for cocktail hour, dinner, and time to dance the night away!

We were honored to capture so many special moments this day between Lily and her family, that we know they can cherish forever and always remember her dad as the wonderful and loving man he was.
