Meaghan & Mason wanted an intimate day to celebrate their love before an upcoming deployment. That’s exactly what they did for their Winter Elopement at The Hermitage Museum. This was such a romantic day with those closest to them before they have a big celebration next year!

How They Met
Meaghan and Mason were both stationed on the same ship in Japan. When they pulled into ports to adventure and explore cities they felt a connection that they realized was more than friends. When they pulled back into their home port, Mason asked Meaghan on a real date. Mason asked Meaghan officially be his girlfriend at the top of the Tokyo Tower.

The Proposal
Mason started planning fun photoshoots for them for years before the proposal because he knew that Meaghan would eventually want a photographer present at the proposal.

In May of 2024, Mason had already moved to his next command in California and she was still stationed in Japan, so they went for a vacation in Hawaii. Mason even picked out her dress for the proposal after she showed him inspiration pictures of “the vibe” she was looking for the photoshoot.

He booked it for Waikoloa Beach at sunset and planned a fancy dinner afterwards to celebrate. The photographer had Meaghan turn her back to him and when she turned around she was so overjoyed to see him on one knee that she forgot to say yes… Eventually she exclaimed “YES! YES! A MILLION TIMES YES!”

The Elopement
Meaghan and Mason planned their winter elopement at The Hermitage Museum with their closest friends and family. You would never guess there was any rain this day based on the glow from these two!
Their joy was contagious as they celebrated their love with this intimate ceremony.
After an upcoming deployment they will have a big party with all their friend and family!
