Sarah and Aaron’s spring wedding at the Barns of Kanak was filled with love, a few inside jokes, and a grand celebration of their love! Not to mention the weather that held off for them to be married outside and dancing through the evening with their favorite people.

The Proposal…

Sometimes, the proposal doesn’t go as planned, but when life hands to peaches, you pick them! After three attempts to take a grand balloon ride over Charlottesville, Aaron decided to go with plan B. He took Sarah to Carter Mountain so they could pick peaches, which were sweet enough for Sarah to Say Yes when he got down on one knee!

Their Spring Wedding at Barns of Kanak

Sarah started off the day in the main house of The Barns of Kank, where she had her wedding party and closest ladies. Laughing, pampering, and getting excited for her day. After cute jammie photos and a few hugs, Sarah got in her dress with her mom so she could see a few very important gentlemen. Sarah did the sweetest first looks with her Dad’s. To say Sarah is loved is an understatement; we adore how many wonderful people are in her life!

The sweet moment when everyone is ready for Sarah to walk down the aisle, Aaron turns around. Sarah and her grandfather walked down the aisle and as soon as Aaron turned to her, the tears began. The sweet love these two share is beautiful. They said I Do in between giggles, smiles, and heart eyes for each other. Surrounded by their incredibly supportive wedding party, family, and friends, these two are committed to it forever.

After the I Do’s it was time to party! Sweet toasts laced with jokes and love for the new Mr & Mrs opened up into a never-ending dance floor! That was eventually invaded by a pack of chickens aka Sarah’s wedding party! The surprise of the evening got everyone in the spirit and laughing! We have to admit this was a first for us, but man, do we love a good inside joke and a surprise!
