Heather & Joe’s Mill at Fine Creek Wedding
Heather and Joe gathered their closest people for their intimate Mill at Fine Creek Wedding. They began their wedding weekend with a pickleball tournament; if you know these two, they’re competitive, and Pickleball is life. Let the games begin! The day before their wedding, they hosted their rehearsal dinner at Fine Creek Brewing, just across the street.
Before we get too deep into their Mill at Fine Creek Wedding, let’s go back to where it all started, how they met. Heather and Joe met online. They started talking for a few days, and given their busy schedule, it took a minute for them to meet in real life. Once they met, the rest is history. Heather texted her best friends that night and said she was going to marry Joe. Now we’re all here!
Heather and Joe started their day with an epic playlist of alternative throwback songs, which had everyone jamming as they walked around the venue. Heather and her best friends got ready together while Joe and his friends played a few games and one intense wiffle ball game. The chillest start to the day.
They had chosen to do a first look and read their vows to each other in private. Joe’s reaction to seeing Heather was one for the books. Then again, Heather is a stone-cold fox, and her dress and veil, just wow! Once Joe had us all beaming with love for his excitement, they played a quick game of Rock-Paper Scissors to determine who went first. Joe won with a well-played Paper.
Heather and Joe married in the ruins of their Mill at Fine Creek Wedding. Talk about romance. It was stunning. After sweating for a week about the weather, Mother Nature put on a show of beautiful sunshine and the perfect weather day. The ceremony included their family blessing their rings and loved ones smiling as Heather’s best friend, Heather, placed a well-timed dad joke that brought laughter to everyone. Beautifully intimate for two of the kindest humans.
What’s the best part? These two together. Watching Heather and Joe is why I love what I do. Two humans who are crazy about each other. Joe brings out the biggest spark in Heather and encourages her to be her fun-loving self. While Heather gives Joe the space to be his charismatic self, they beam with smiles and shenanigans as soon as they are near each other. So, my favorite photos from their day are not beautifully posed; they’re goofy and playful photos because that’s who they are. These photos will be the ones their family will look at decade after decade and see exactly why they are together.
