Amanda and Alex’s secret garden summer wedding at the Hermitage Museum was one hot time…I mean, a hell of a time!! They may have had a hot day, but the vibes were on point. A love story even the heat couldn’t cool!

Amand and Alex met on Tinder a few years ago. They had their first date in Dayton, Ohio, and since then, they’ve built a beautiful life together here in Virginia! It was only natural to bring their family and friends together to celebrate their love story.

Let’s start with Dad’s first look. Dad had us all emotional. His love for his daughter couldn’t be contained as he saw her for the first time. We don’t blame him; Amanda was STUNNING in her dress. Then came the time for Amand and Alex’s first look. It wasn’t just your normal first look. They exchanged heartfelt gifts, including a notebook Amanda had kept for Alex. Wait, it gets sweeter! Amanda also played the piano and sang a song for Alex. Talk about romance!

The romance didn’t stop there. Their ceremony featured one of our favorite ceremony moments to date this year! When it came time for to exchange rings. The best man and maid of honor, took the rings out, held them in their hands and made a wish for the bride & groom. Then they passed the ring down the wedding party line, and then to their family. Each person taking the time to hold the ring, give a blessing, and then hand it to the next person. Wow.

After the I Do’s, the band kicked it up a notch and got the party started! Their guests danced long after the sunset, through the heat! Once the evening came to a conclusion, guests filed out to the front of The Hermitage Museum to prepare for their grand exit. While Amanda and Alex had a private last dance. Soaking in the final moments of the absolute best day!
