Gillian and Austin’s Intimate Williamsburg Wedding!

Gillian and Austin gathered their favorite people for their Intimate Williamsburg Wedding at the end of June. A love so true and genuine the heat couldn’t keep their people from celebrating their love story! Before we get into their wedding day, let’s throw it back to when they met….throw it way back!

Gillian and Austin met in 2012 when they were both just 14/15 years old!! They played together in a band. Austin had been playing guitar for a few years, and Gillian kind of knew how to play bass, so eventually learning/teaching music together became an excuse to hang out! A friendship blossomed for a couple of years. They finally started dating in 2014, and they’ve been together ever since! They’ve stood together as both of them graduated a few times, endured some stints of a long-distance relationship, traveled together, adopted two cats, become a part of each other’s families, and grown up together. (Yes they really are this sweet)

One last stop before the wedding, The proposal!! Austin proposed on a rooftop in Norfolk on Gillian’s birthday in 2020. He had planned everything out with both of their sisters (who were hiding to take pictures) After the initial proposal, Austin had planned a small party with both of our immediate families to celebrate. The perfect birthday that may never be topped!

Their wedding was incredibly sweet. Gillian was glowing in her beaded dress, and Austin was dapper in his green statement jacket. These two, once they are near each other, are all giggles and smiles. Watching their love makes your heart happy. They were married by Austin’s sister. Then showered with potpourri as they danced down the aisle, husband and wife!

The dancefloor was hopping with some solid dance moves by their family and friends. However, the highlight of the dancefloor was a choreographed dance by the groom and his wedding party!! They created a dance for Gillian to ABBA’s Dancing Queen! Gillian never stopped smiling and even got in on the dancing!
