Virginia Beach Couples Portraits
Virginia Beach couples portraits are meant to feel like a date night. Not like the boring studio photos you had as a kid! We like to make them an experience, getting dressed up, laughing together, and most important is making real memories together. We want you to feel something amazing when you look back on your portraits years from now. It’s our goal to transport you back to the bliss you felt during your portraits!
How do we do that? Easy! We get to know you like normal humans! You’re real people with a real love story and we simply want to capture that beauty for you! You may be saying ‘Girl, my real love story includes sweatpants and a Netflix binge session’ We get it, yes that’s real love too! However, that’s why we refer to your portriats as a date night, rather than a chill night. (trust us, we love sweatpants and chill nights too!)
Before you get too nervous about how all of this is going to go down, take a breath and remember it’s a date night! Make it one too! Schedule a dinner reservation, or plan a place to go to. Stop for drinks if you need time to kill before your reservations. What I may also suggest, stop for a drink ahead of your portraits. Flirt a little, laugh, and talk about what you’re excited about. Truly just date your partner; that’s it.
You’re probably thinking, ‘But I’m awkward as hell; this won’t help’ Trust your girl; it will! In fact, my husband and I do this for our portraits. Guess what? I get nervous too! We’re not models, and we assume you’re like us. We do our best to get you out of your head and into a moment. That starts before your portraits! So go take your partner out for drinks, or get to the beach early with a blanket, and a bottle of wine and have a glass together! We don’t mind!
This is simply a reminder that your real love is beautiful. It’s perfectly ok to be nervous. Don’t forget to make this a fun night for the two of you! After all, it is a date night!
