Allie & Dylan’s The Cracker Factory Wedding
I’m a little sad writing this one. This family has been a part of DeLine Photography since 2019. It all started with Dylan’s sisters Lauren’s wedding in 2020, where I stood with 9 of their closest people during her COVID wedding in Rochester, NY. Then in 2021, we all traveled to Charlotte, NC, for Dylan’s other sister, Danielle’s downtown wedding. And now, Allie and Dylan’s The Cracker Factory Wedding in 2022. Wow. To say I adore this family would be an understatement. They’re my first legacy family and hold a very dear space in my heart. I’m pretty sure I’ll need to sponsor family reunions from now on?!
Through three weddings, I watched Dylan & Allie together. Dylan is always the quiet big guy in the corner with not much to say, and Allie is the sweet one smiling while she holds up epic hand signals. (sorry, not sorry, inside joke) So as I walked into their day, I was expecting the same. However, I was delightfully surprised by both of them, especially Dylan. The big guy shined! Seeing Dylan light up at the sight of Allie, his passionate kiss on her during their ceremony, or his stellar dance moves made me smile all day. Dylan was in his best moment, likely because he married his favorite person, surrounded by his favorite people.
They both started their day on Lake Geneva. Getting ready, laughing, and sharing a few drinks with their closest people. Allie was chilling when I walked in, getting her makeup done. Allie looking cool, calm, and collected. Her girls were getting things ready, laughing, and writing speeches. On the other hand, Dylan had his bros in a cottage on the lake. They shared a few Blue lights and laughs as they buttoned up their shirts and tied their ties.
Their wedding was short, sweet, and filled with excitement! Allie walked down the aisle lined with pompous grass to an excited groom waiting for her. As the sun cascaded over them, they said I Do, and Dylan planted the best kiss on his new wife!
The Cracker Factory offers a unique setup. There’s the large common area for the formal reception, a stylish bar where they held cocktail hour mingling with everyone, an outdoor rooftop, and a shuffleboard! Needless to say, this venue is now on our LOVE list if you’re getting married in the finger lakes!
Since this was the family’s first full wedding (thanks to the fun sponge, covid), they went all out! The dance floor was never dull, and the bar was always hopping! Dylan and Allie spent the evening mingling from group to group, mixing in hugs, cheers, and a cigar or two! The perfect day for these two incredible people!
