A conversation about Taylor Swift on the night they first met turned into nights sipping beers on their back deck and listening to the best of country music. Their wedding was just as incredible. A night spent celebrating Kelsey and Andrew. Their Hermitage Museum Wedding in Norfolk, VA was pure magic. Far from the ‘upsacle BBQ’ Andrew once described as their wedding vibe!
Kelsey and Andrew were so wonderful to work with. They were fun, easy going and always down for some good laughs. There was so much joy from the bride and groom and their bridal party too! Kelsey and Andrew chose to have a first look which was a truly sweet moment. There’s nothing better than a groom seeing his bride for the first time. Truly perfect.
Kelsey and Andrew met during their last year at Boston University. As Andrew fulfilled his duties with the Navy, this couple gracefully navigated long distances, a few different moves, cities and deployments! Andrew shocked us all as he recounted those first few big moments he journaled during deployment as a part of his vows. There couldn’t have been a dry eye in the place! They are so excited for wherever their future takes them as long as they’re together. Which in fact, they moved across the country just a few short days after their wedding!
The evening was filled with heartfelt and funny toasts, good food and lots of dancing! Oh and don’t you forget Doumar’s Ice Cream! Thank you Kelsey & Andrew for introducing me to this Hampton Roads staple!
I mean guys, just take alook at all of this genuine emotion! Laughs, a few tears, and non-stop fun! Kelsey and Andrew wanted and intimate affair in a beautiful place, to celebrate the love story they have written and they did exactly that!
