Josh and Janae’s Norfolk Courthouse Elopement

Josh and Janae’s day was filled with family, love and a few very special wedding luck charms. It was a chilly January day but that didn’t keep this bride from rocking her beautiful dress and smiling all afternoon. Janae and Josh met in San Diego over 4 years ago! Janae’s brother in law invited his high school friend Josh over for Thanksgiving. The next day Janae and Josh went on their first date and became an “us”! Josh proposed on Christmas day. He stuffed Janae’s stocking with a little black box that actually had emerald earrings in it! As Janae was putting on the earrings, Josh got down on one knee and popped the question. Because Josh was being deployed they couple planned the official wedding now and a big party later! 

Wedding Luck Charms

Janae brought her wedding luck charms with her on the big day. Around her bouquet, she carried her grandmother’s rosary for something old. She wore the emerald earrings she received on Christmas for something new, and her sister’s diamond wedding headpiece as something borrowed. As for something blue, Janae crushed it with gorgeous blue shoes that popped with her white dress!

Janae and Josh’s family joined them for their ceremony. Janae’s uncle even acted as the officiant. The afternoon concluded with a group champagne toast. Congrats Janae and Josh! Wishing you so much love, laughter and beautiful forever after!
