Pete and Lauren’s Rochester NY Winter Wedding
Five years, almost to the day, after they met at a Rochester bar Pete and Lauren tied the knot. Their winter wedding in Rochester NY wasn’t exactly what they originally planned, but then again no 2020 wedding went as planned. When Pete and Lauren decided to reschedule their wedding from June of 2020 to November, they had hoped to still have their almost 200 guests there with them. As you know by now, November brought with it a reduction in gatherings, and new health & safety measures. Lauren and Pete made the decision to still have their November wedding, with their families.
On a bright and chilly day Lauren and Pete had their winder wedding in Rochester NY. They chose a gorgeous victorian style manor in the hard of Rochester, The Century Club of Rochester. The venue had all the small details you imagine, beautifully painted ceilings, old glass doors, and the perfect fireplace room. It was in that little room, Lauren & Pete’s parents, grandparents and uncle watched them say I do.
Lauren and her girls got ready at the Century Club of Rochester, lounging on victorian couches, laughing while getting hair and make up done. Pete and his guys started the day at his parents house just down the road. The perfect guy morning featuring Pete beer doozies, and a roaring fire.
Pete and Lauren chose to do first look, and oh my gosh you have to see the moment Lauren walks down those grand stairs! My heart skipped a beat as I watched her. My heart skipped a lot of beats that day, see I’ve known Lauren and Pete now for almost two years. I’ve talked decor shopping, house buying, and even pup stories with Lauren. Likely having three different conversations with her at any given time. To see them finally get to say I Do was a big deal.
The way they looked at each other as Lauren’s uncle married them, was so sweet. Like they couldn’t contain how intense the moment was to FINALLY marry each other. They said I Do with 10 evenly spaced out chairs, that had love to equal 200.
