Their Story
Seven years after they first met, David and Rachael said I do. Their Leatherwood Mountains wedding in the mountains of North Carolina was a dream. Mother Nature added some rain and fog. Turning this mountain wedding into a romantic affair. The beautiful ceremony was accented with simple vintage touches. Single roses placed on reserved seats, a bicycle carrying dried flower pedals and a bride who simply glowed in a vintage inspired tulle and lace wedding gown.
The reception started with a bang! The town lost power right as the ceremony concluded. Which created the most romantic first dance ever. Lit only by candles and cell phone lights. The Grit Licker’s band played for David & Rachael’s dance on violin and guitar. I’m not sure I can think of a more perfect way to have your first dance.
