Mallory and Rob met on Groupon. They both purchased a Groupon for a scuba diving class. They redeemed their Groupon on the same day, and the rest is history. Ever since, they’ve been a match made in heaven, so much so last December Rob asked Mallory to marry him!
I’ve known Mallory since college. We met Freshman year at Niagara University. For the next four years we were two parts of a dynamic project group (yes, I’m bragging a little). When Mallory contacted me about being her photographer, I was honored! I knew that who ever had stole her heart had to be pretty special, and Rob lived up to the hype.
On a cold and rainy morning in Canandaigua New York, I arrived at Bristol Harbor Lodge to photograph their day. Mallory, her normal calm and collected self was getting her hair and makeup done. Rob was hanging with the guys in a near by house over looking Canandaigua Lake. As the day progressed, the rain disappeared and Wester New York put on a autumn show. The view at Bristol Harbor is breath taking. Rob and Mallory said I Do over looking Canandaigua Lake, lined with gorgeous fall trees of orange and reds. Despite the bitter cold, their friends and loved ones smiled on as they quickly exchanged vows and a kiss becoming Mr & Mrs Towers.
Next, queue the dance par-tay! From circle dances, dropping it low and picking it up slow to adorable slow dances. I bounced around the dance floor weaving in and out of circles, stopping to make sure I paid proper dance respect to Cardi-B with the bridesmaids and then whisked the newlyweds off to a quiet moment by the fire.
