Ashley + Mike | Tunnels Beach Engagement | Kauai Photographer

This Kauai engagement session with Ashely and Mike was simply beautiful! Recently engaged Ashley and Mike were traveling to Kauai for a little work and relaxation. Ashley contacted me on The Knot about doing their engagement photos at Tunnels Beach, I of course loved the idea!

Kauai is nick named The Garden Island, for its lush greenery and jungle beauty! After landing at the airport, Tunnels Beach is a breath taking one hour drive along the water just past Hanalei, through green jungle tunnels, and one lane bridges. Tunnels Beach offers a view of the Na Pali coast mountains, but was actually named Tunnels Beach because of the lava tubes that form underwater caverns which divers and snorkelers can explore.  

As soon as Mike and Ashley stepped out of their car you could tell they were excited. Smiles and laughs were never ending through out their session; Mike had many silly faces that kept Ashley’s face glowing with laughter! They walked along the beach hand in hand, danced on the ocean floor and even jumped in for some fun finale shots!
